Hi;

My mom is Elizabeth Harris, she lives in North Zulch, Tx. I cannot get to North Zulch very often and was wondering if you can send me some petitions in her name for me to go around to get signed.
Will give them to her and she can turn them in. What about the cemetaries? I know there are a bunch that will be under water if it goes in. You might check on that. Ain’t that wrong to put a lake over graves?
I know of one that will be in trouble with a white house right next to it, on OSR. Burns Cemetery. It should be in the historical registar as it has old military graves in it dating back to the 1800′s. They say it been abandoned but still its a cemetary and people go there to look up lost old relatives.
We have so much history along the Navasota river, there are also 5 indian mounds next to our old place. that will defintly be flooded.
That should be a good historical find.
Anyway, just a thought.

Thanks;

Interesting information

At the Dec ‘09 Region H meeting Region H member Judge Art Henson voted FOR chapter 4, asking that Millican be a water management strategy, that will be developed by gulf coast water authority and the BRA. He did second the motion, before voting FOR Millican

In Jan Judge Henson voted FOR chapter 8 of the plan recommending that the legislature make Millican a Unique Reservoir Site.

At the Feb meeting Judge Henson voted FOR the IPP.

Finally at the April 7th meeting in Conroe, a public question was presented to the members, who is against Millican please raise their hand. Judge Henson left his hand down, indicating he was FOR Millican.

Although Judge Henson has since voted to oppose the Unique Reservoir Site during the Madison County Commissioners Court during the April 24 session. He currently feels that there is not enough information or research done to deem this land URS or build a Reservoir at this time.
